This contest is open to all amateur photographers. All photos must have been taken in the Historic District of Ellicott City, MD. Cash prizes will be awarded in three categories: Junior (17 and under), Adult (18 and over), and a yearly special category. All submissions become the property of The Ellicott City Restoration Foundation and may be used in future publications. A 2012 application with rules & regulations is available at the Howard County Tourism & Promotion Welcome Center at 8267 Main Street. December 2011 Annual Historic District Holiday Window Decorating Contest
Stroll the streets of Ellicott City and decide which window you think is the best. Pick up a ballot and cast your vote. Your vote enters you in a drawing to win a $75.00 gift certificate to the Historic District shop or restaurant of your choice. Ballots are available at The Howard County Tourism & Promotion Welcome Center at 8267 Main Street.
